About the Tidewater Woodworkers Guild
The Tidewater Woodworkers Guild is dedicated to advancing the understanding of the tools, equipment, processes, and procedures used in the art of fine woodworking. This web site is intended to introduce you to our guild, provide related links, and dispense information on membership. Our members come together monthly to share and develop woodworking skills.
Tidewater Woodworkers got started in 1980 as an outgrowth of several woodworkers that met for the free seminars held at the (then) Shopsmith Store along Northampton Boulevard, Norfolk. Several homes later, we currently have approximately 70 members who meet at Woodcraft in the JANAF Shopping Center.

Guild meetings are held at 6:30 pm on the 4th Monday of each month, except December, at the Woodcraft Store in the JANAF Shopping Center, Norfolk, VA. We also hold informal gatherings (also referred to as "Benchtop Discussions") on the second Monday of the month at Woodcraft.
